Through Two Lenses
This photo problem is a diptych that showcases an idea from two different perspectives. The perspectives must be from the point of view of an implied character. It does not necessarily need to be a human character. A common example of this would be a political issue. In the US, we have two main sides, republican and democrat. You could solve this problem by showcasing an image through the eyes of a republican and the other from the eyes of a democrat. In no way does this need to be political or even an major issue, just something that can be displayed from two different sides.
Before you shoot, you will need to create a visual journal. The visual journal must include the following:
Two images that you can use for inspiration
Background addressed
Two guiding questions asked and answered
Need to fill out a preshoot planning form for each photograph
Studio lighting
Characters (clothing, body language, facial expression)
Point of view (who's perspective is it)?
