Problem Statment:
Create an artwork (photography) that visually represents the your choice of prompt "Disappointment"
For this unit do not do:
anything with grades or college rejection letters
avoid cliche break up situations
Cannot do EVER:
Sunsets, sunrises,
close up images of eyes,
tops of trees,
rainbows
Environments without context
Screenshots / images of screens
Images of statues / buildings without context
Background (5 pts)
Requirements:
1. Address your background using a 2 color watercolor wash.
2. Design: Leave at least 2 blank space where the paper shows through.
Essential Question
(10 pts)
Purpose:
Asking and answering an essential question is a way that artists can explore an idea on a much deeper level. It forces you to think about the theme as a conceptual idea rather than a visual representation.
Specs:
1. Essential questions always start with why or how.
2. They must be answered in a well developed paragraph or more
--- You can ask and answer follow up questions (or ask another essential question)
--- There are no wrong answers, don't erase. Just move on to the next thought.

Requirements:
1. Write down an essential question that starts with why or how.
2. Answer your question thoroughly in paragraph form.

(5 points)
Task:
1. Print out 1 inspirational photo for your best idea.
2. Use double sided tape or glue to artfully put it in your sketchbook.
3. Write down how you plan on bing inspired by the images. Think about the photo choices.
