Choosing a Recipe:
The recipe you choose must be something that you can make a book out of. Typically this is a recipe that has been passed down through a family, or something that has a story to it. It should be a "scratch" meal, meaning that it does not use premade ingredients.
- Choose something that is sentimental to you.
- Choose a meal you have interest in cooking.
- Find a person who you are genuinely interested in.
Process:
1. Find someone willing to help.
2. Research photo options / sketchbook.
3. Video shoot / interview
4. Take your product shots (at school)
5. Dissect the video
6. Design your book
7. Print your book
End Product:
A 9 x 6" book (minimum of 16 pages). Including photos, recipe background, ingredients, recipe and other items you may find important.
