Struggle
Problem Statment:
Create an artwork (photography) that visually represents the prompt "Struggle" (or any other forms of the word, such as struggling, struggled, or synonyms... )
For this unit do not do:
- anything academic, self portrait without action,
Cannot do EVER:
Anyhing that is AI created or content filled
Sunsets, sunrises,
close up images of eyes,
tops of trees,
rainbows
Environments without context
Screenshots / images of screens
Images of statues / buildings without context
Sketchbook Directions
1. Create a background (5 points)
Address the background using watercolor color pencils
2. Essential Question (10 Points)
- Create your own question that starts with why or how.
Answer your question in at least 5 sentences.
3. Brainstorming #1 (10 points)
Make a list of 10 things you do outside of school, make a list of 10 things and old person (or younger person) does. These can be big things, or little things.
b. Next to each item, list how you can fail at each one.
c. Pick 5 of your 20 items. write down how the failure could be exaggerated.
4. Thumbnail Sketches (10 points)
Photo 1 - Draw 3 thumbnail sketches based on your list above.
Photo 1 GT / Photo 2 - Draw 4 thumbnail sketches based on your list above.
LABEL your thumbnails all of the appropriate photo choices.
