Sketchbook Directions

1. Create a background (5 points) / Design

Address the background using a light color background

2. Title your page (5 points)

Trace a printed out version of the word "new" to title your page

3. Brainstorming #1 (10 points)

Create a word chain that takes up the entire background of your sketchbook

4. Thumbnail Sketches (15 points)

Draw 4 thumbnail sketches on 4 different concepts. The concepts (or subjects) must come from your word chain.

--- Use the precut thumbnail paper if you want (on the ledge by the print dryer).

LABEL your thumbnails all of the appropriate photo choices. Labeling means that you're identifying what the environment is, not writing "environment). Do this with all the photo choices that apply to your photo. Failure to do this will result in no credit for the thumbnails.
